Orchard Gems
Swap two neighbouring fruit to line up three symbols and set off a chain.
No clock unless you want one
No clock, no reflexes, no penalty for thinking. Every game in this family can be finished by deduction alone — if you are guessing, the position still contains information you have not used.

Swap two neighbouring fruit to line up three symbols and set off a chain.

The great alignment classic, against a minimax opponent or a friend.

Push the grid one way, merge matching pairs, and never let the board fill up.

Uncover every safe square using nothing but the numbers around it.

Flip cards two at a time and remember where they were — your move count is your score.

Every digit from 1 to 9 once per row, once per column, once per box.

Slide the tiles back into sequence, in as few moves as you can manage.
The promise of a logic game is only worth something if the generator keeps it. Lumen Sudoku produces grids with exactly one solution, so a contradiction is always your mistake and never the puzzle's. Nova Minesweeper is built to be solvable by deduction rather than by a coin flip at the end, which is the difference between the good version of minesweeper and the version that wastes your time.
Because nothing is timed, these are the games that survive an interruption. Look away mid-grid, close the tab in a hurry, come back an hour later — the position is exactly where you left it and the reasoning still applies. That makes the family the natural choice for a long wait rather than a short break.
What varies inside the family is how much of the board you can hold in your head at once. A sudoku grid asks you to track nine constraints at a time; Nebula Slider asks you to plan four or five moves ahead on a much smaller board; Merge 2048 asks for one rule applied consistently — keep the largest tile in a corner and never break the row that holds it.
Pick by what you want out of the next ten minutes, not by the name.
| If you want | Open this |
|---|---|
| A pure deduction puzzle | Lumen Sudoku. One solution per grid, generated fresh, with a difficulty setting rather than a timer. |
| Deduction under a little pressure | Nova Minesweeper. Solvable by reasoning, but a wrong flag ends the board. |
| One simple rule, applied well | Merge 2048. The whole game is corner discipline; every loss is the moment you broke it. |
| A quiet, finite puzzle | Nebula Slider. A fixed board, an outlined set of legal moves, and a solution you can see approaching. |
