About Paddle Duel
A perfect pong AI is unplayable: it never misses. Ours has a reaction delay and a margin of error, adjustable across three levels, which makes rallies winnable without being handed to you.
Two-player mode shares the keyboard: one player on the left with W and S, one on the right with the arrows. First to eleven.
How to play
- Move your paddle up and down to return the ball.
- The return angle depends on where the ball hits the paddle.
- A point is scored when your opponent lets the ball past.
- First paddle to eleven points takes the duel.

Three ways to get better
- Return with the edge of the paddle to create an angle that is hard to reach.
- The AI tracks the ball with a slight lag: sharp changes of angle catch it out.
- In two-player mode, return to the centre between rallies.
